Quick Natural Remedies For Gout
There are many remedies to ease the pain and inflammation that are caused by gout. They may be herbal tea, drinks, paste, hydrotherapy etc. Let’s have a look.
Pain relieving infusions: Mix half a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drink it to relieve the pain. Mix 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in one glass of water; add juice of half a lemon in a glass of water can all reduce the pain. Add 2 table spoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoon of honey and have it in the morning and before going to bed at night and see how the pain is reduced. Cook a tablespoon of celery seeds in two cups of water until they are soft; strain and drink 1/2 cup four times a day.
Eat an apple after every meal or eat a small piece of raw ginger or 15-20 fresh cherries or one or two bananas a day, can get a relief from the inflammation and the pain.
- Paste: Make a paste of ginger root or activated charcoal and apply on the affected area can reduce both the pain and inflammation.
- Oil Massage: Lukewarm castor oil with a cotton ball or camphor dissolved in lukewarm mustard oil massaged on the affected area can give relief from the pain and inflammation.
